Storm Kristin impacted the Central Region of Portugal between 27 and 28 January 2026, causing significant damage to public infrastructure, community facilities, and residential housing, particularly within the Municipality of Leiria. In response to the emergency and in coordination with local recovery initiatives, the Templar Corps deployed personnel to support early recovery and humanitarian assistance activities.

- Organization of materials and beneficiary flow;
- Operational support during distribution activities.

Enquadramento da Situação
A tempestade Kristin afetou a Região Centro de Portugal entre os dias 27 e 28 de janeiro de 2026, provocando danos significativos em infraestruturas públicas, equipamentos coletivos e habitações, com especial incidência no concelho de Leiria. Em resposta à situação de emergência e em articulação com iniciativas locais de recuperação, o Templar Corps mobilizou recursos humanos para apoiar ações de recuperação inicial e assistência humanitária.
2. Objetivos da Missão
Os objetivos da missão foram os seguintes:- Apoiar operações de limpeza urbana e remoção de detritos em áreas afetadas;

Os elementos do Templar Corps participaram na iniciativa comunitária “Reerguer Leiria”, desenvolvendo:- Ações de limpeza urbana e remoção de detritos;
- Trabalhos de reparação ligeira e recuperação no Jardim de Infância do Bairro das Almuinhas;
- Apoio direto a habitações da população residente.

Foi prestado apoio à distribuição de telhas e outros materiais de construção no Estádio Municipal de Leiria, incluindo:- Montagem do ponto de distribuição;
- Organização dos materiais e do fluxo de beneficiários;
- Apoio operacional durante as ações de distribuição.
